
RIDES+ Membership
Are you an individual or organizational leader interested in helping seniors access medical care?
Membership with the IVCG's RIDES+ community is now available. Individual members with ride needs (for seniors 60 years and over) can join at the quarterly or annual levels. Benefits include our IVCG RIDES+ Promise and access to their Personal Transportation Account.
Organizational members enjoy an array of benefits - including vouchers for seniors in their networks who need ride support (related to the Advocate and Navigator levels).
Volunteers provide most of our rides (with a few supported by staff as "back-up"). Personal vehicles are utilized, and volunteers pay their own expenses. We accept ride bookings every weekday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

With RIDES+ Rider Membership levels, you can book as many non-emergency medical rides as you need during your active membership period.
Membership Isn’t For Everyone

TIPS for MEMBERS
As a volunteer-based organization, we honor peer-to-peer support. If you're interested in helping support fellow members as a driver or as a friendly caller to assist with utilizing the Personal Transportation Account system, sign up on IVCG's volunteer portal.

After joining, you'll gain access to your online account (called your "Personal Transportation Account" or PTA for short).

Your requests can be submitted through your PTA or by calling 475-257-6537 to leave a message with your appt. details.

Remember, after scheduling your doctor's appointment, share your ride request with as much advanced notice as you wish.

NOTE: We cannot promise coverage for ride requests made with less than 48 hours from the appt. time.

The day PRIOR to your ride, your driver will call to review logistics (time of pickup, etc), so please answer your phone, even if you don't recognize the number.

We ask riders to limit their requests to medical rides.

Riders must be registered with IVCG in order to obtain transportation support. Rider-Members do NOT need to go through the full client intake required by the state and Agency on Aging (questions stemming from the "FORM 5").
