We, as community members serving in an official capacity (staff, Board members, and volunteers**), dedicate ourselves to carrying out the mission of Interfaith Volunteer Care Givers of Greater New Haven, Inc. (IVCG). [click to access the policy]
While providing significant benefits to clients – namely, a free, door to door ride provided on the client’s schedule and according to the client’s individual needs – IVCG’s service is also limited by the capabilities of our volunteers and staff, and the requirements of our program. IVCG, thanks to dedicated volunteers, provide non-emergency medical transportation support for seniors (60 years and older). Volunteers serve entirely by their own choice and at their own individual discretion. Participation is mutually cooperative and based on shared empathy. [click to access the procedure]
