My Story
Amy is a retired attorney with more than 35 years of legal and corporate experience. She began her career in private practice before joining Travelers Insurance Company, where she spent more than three decades in a variety of legal and professional roles. She is a graduate of Smith College and Duke University School of Law.
Throughout her career, Amy has remained committed to community service. She has been actively involved in volunteer work through her church and currently serves as a member of the Hamden Education Foundation, whose mission is to support and enrich the experiences of students in the Hamden Public Schools through funding innovative grants for special projects, and awarding scholarships to qualifying graduating seniors. She is also a recent volunteer in the Experience Corp. program and loving it!
Amy is passionate about strengthening educational opportunities and giving back to the community. She looks forward to continuing to support organizations that make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Amy and her husband Dean raised their two children in Hamden and now have the pleasure of having two granddaughters in the area to enjoy!
